MEMORIAM Lend Me A Cat I will lend a cat to you for awhile, God said. For you to love her while she lives, and mourn her when she's dead. Maybe for twelve or fourteen years, or maybe two or three. But will you, 'til I call her back, take care of her for me? She'll bring her charms to gladden you; and should her stay be brief, you'll always have her memories, as solace for your grief. I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth, return. But there are lessons taught below, I want this cat to learn. I've looked the whole world over, in search of teachers true. And from the folk that crowd life's land, I have chosen you. Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to take my cat back again? It was then that we said 'Dear Lord, thy will be done.' For all the joys this cat will bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter her with tenderness, we'll love her while we may. And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay. But should you call her back, much sooner than we'd planned, we'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand. You fought until the end, but had to give up,  much to soon.  Pugsley we will see you again.     Veel te vroeg en veel te plotseling hebben wij afscheid moeten nemen van onze Yule. Slechts 1 1/2 jaar jong; hij had nog een heel leven voor zich. Hij was zo lief, zo aanhankelijk; hij had aandacht voor iedereen. We missen hem enorm. Lieve Yule, bedankt voor al je liefde en gezelligheid ! We zullen je nooit vergeten ! Very suddenly we had to say farrwell to you Yule. Just 1 1/2 years old and a whole life ahead of you. So sweet and affectionate and attention for everyone. We miss you so much. Dear Yule thanks for all the love you gave  us. We will never forget you! Je bent nu waar al je vriendjes zitten en hebt geen pijn meer. We missen je. Micky you have left us with an empty heart, you gave us always your miauw to everything and anyone. Je leven was eigenlijk net begonnen. Maar het eindigde na een week vechten voor je leven. We missen je heel erg. Our pride. You left us heartbroken. Your life has just began. But it ended after a week of fighting for your life. We miss you very much.     We hebben maar heel kort van je mogen genieten, je mocht maar 26 daagjes oud worden. We zullen je  missen kleine meid, je was zo dapper. We couldn't have you  for long, you became 26 days old. We will miss you our sweet little girl, you were so brave.
